History: Andy's Rover was originally
built for and campaigned by Kev Jenkins for use in the
now defunct Pro Rover class. After winning the championship
the car was campaigned again in Pro Rover by Murray
Kinnaird. Andy aquired the the car in 1999 and entered
it into Super Street Rover competition with a 3.5L Rover
V8. After updates by Andy Robinson Race Cars, a 5.0L
Rover powerplant was fitted and the Super Gas/Super
Comp competition was undertaken. After damaging the
engine a 2 year break from racing was taken, and the
car was updated furthermore for the fitting of the current
Big Block Chevrolet.
