  • History: Originally constructed by Andy Chisolm and fitted with a Big Block Chevy in the early eighties, it competed in various 'street legal events before being purchased and rebuilt by John Scott. The vehicle ran in this guise with a Small Block and Doug Nash 5-speed as the Motorola car in Pro Modified and Super Gas until a crash in 1990 saw it parked. After a brief fling with a circuit racer saw it reduced to a bare shell, the car was sold to Barry Sheavills and subsequently bought by Kirk Motorsport in 1995. A ground up rebuild was undertaken centred around a 516ci Big Block and TH400, although the car remained a stock-chassised, back-halved machine. After a few seasons in Super Gas and Super Comp, it was decided that the limits of the stock chassis had been reached and a rebuild to Super Mod spec was undertaken in 2002. Initially fitted with a Powerglide, further chassis mods to accept the Lenco and new rear suspension were carried out in 2005 which was also when the rear wing was added. 2007 has seen the latest evolution of the car with the fitment of a funny-car style roll cage and rear anti-roll bar.
