"With the season fast approaching and knowing the competition is going to be very tough this year, the 1955 Chevy Bel Air is going to have to be right on the metal for it's first competitive meeting. Also, following the announcements recently about all the great companies that have come on board to support us Super Modifieds (which can all be found on the Sponsors' section of this website), I decided to incorporate these two issues and do some testing....BUT WITH A DIFFERENCE!!!

I recently replied to the ad on Eurodragster by Darren at Santa Pod about doing some Demo Runs at the Fast Show. This will be our first test session following the Winter break. We are also going to test a week later on the Peak Performance Day....BUT WITH BALLAST.....as Eurodragster's very own gearhead "Tog" has agreed to be a passenger!!! I was given the OK to do this by Darren which I really appreciated and hence I contacted Tog who jumped at the idea.

The idea is to have a fun day but also get some good coverage for all our supporters.

David and Helen at Quartermilehigh.com are going to cover it for the 2007 "Super Mod Wars" DVD, so hopefully plenty of video and photos will get seen before, during and after the run.

As can be seen from the photos, I've now bolted in the second seat and really looking forward to a great day.
